Quarantacalici, that means forty glasses. This is the new project of the small Morasinsi winery in Apulia. High-quality wines are bottled in sustainable and practical wineskins. The approach of the project is to produce a sustainably produced quality wine at affordable prices. The grapes come from their own vineyards and are hand-picked, naturally fermented and low in sulphites.
The Quarantacalici Puglia Bianco IGP is made from the grapesChardonnay and Moscato bianco. The natural vinification process gives rise to a great, young fruity white wine.
The bag in box / wineskin is always bottled during waning moon.
The taste has hints of fresh fruit, tropical notes and Mediterranean herbs. This fruity white wine is very fresh and juicy in the mouth. This makes it particularly pleasant as a great companion to fresh cheese, white fish and vegetable sauces.
What also makes this wine special is its naturalness. It is not filtered and has a very low sulphite content.

Morasinsi - Vignaioli in Puglia
Morasinsi produces wines from the grapes of their own vineyard. They focus on grape varieties such as Nero di Troia, Aglianico, Moscato reale, Montepulciano and Chardonnay.
The grapes are organically grown and harvested by hand in small crates.
In the winemaking process, the mission is to enhance the quality of the grapes and the terroir (Alta Murgia, Puglia).
In the winery, work is done with passion, personality and experimentation.
The estate is located between two landscapes: the Alta Murgia and the Valle dell'Ofanto. The Murgia is a rural environment characterised by rolling hills, rocky ridges and tree and herbaceous vegetation: the wild pear (perastro), almond, ferula, asparagine, asphodel. The Ofanto Valley, on the other hand, is an anthropised agricultural environment, characterised by vineyards and olive groves, stretching towards the coast as far as the eye can see. The architecture of the estate is reminiscent of the two aforementioned landscapes: the local stone evokes nature and the earth, while the Cor-ten flooring refers to the hand of man. The estate is perfectly integrated into the surrounding landscape through its lines, materials and natural colours. All around there is a rich Mediterranean garden and the winery's vineyards.
