We have bottled something very fine in the practical and sustainable box. A grey Burgundy Spätlese in the highest quality level, the Prädikatswein. We are of the opinion that even the highest quality is allowed in the wine tube.
With winemaker Thomas Grosch, we have found a winemaker in Rheinhessen who produces wines of the highest quality with dedication and passion. He has created a wonderful Pinot Gris for us, which is only available in our wineskin.
A wine with a great pear scent, wonderfully juicy and melting. You can taste a hint of apple and herbs from this typical Pinot Gris.
By the way, this is a vegan Pinot Gris. A grape is naturally plant-based and therefore vegan to begin with. However, chicken egg white and animal gelantine are permitted in wine production to clarify the wines. This wine, however, is clarified without any aids of animal origin. Only vegetable and mineral agents are used in the wine-making process. These include activated carbon, bentonite (natural mineral earth) for protein stabilisation or pure-breeding yeasts for natural, alcoholic fermentation. This makes the wine vegan.
Our Rebenzeit Pinot Gris Bag in Box white wine not only goes well with asparagus. It is the perfect companion in summer and also with many fine dishes such as fish, salads or pasta. By the way, this white wine in the wine tube also tastes very good with grilled meat.
Please store the wineskin in a cool place.
The wine blogger Daniel Bayer tested this wine in his blog "Wein-Verstehen" and was both surprised and thrilled.
