Strong in the glass with red nuances, fine on the nose with a scent of fresh berries, especially raspberries and cranberries. In the mouth soft to red fruit and nice acid in the end.
The Cerasuolo is produced from Montepulciano grapes. They are read by hand between the 20th and 30th of October in the 30 year old vineyards of Controguerra. Here the grapes have the best climatic conditions. In connection with the biological cultivation the typical vegetable smell and the bitterness of the Montepulciano grape intensifies.
Halfway between the Adriatic Sea and the Gran Sasso, on the left bank of the Vibrata River, in the area around the small town of Torano, grow the grapes of Torri Cantine. Here Torri Cantine works according to the best oenological tradition of Abruzzo. The favorable climatic conditions and the generous land combined with the quality of the work make wines of great value.
